Hi, I’m Karen. I’m not a politician, lobbyist, scientist, or a “Karen”. I’m a wife, mom, and average citizen who cares about what’s happening to our climate.

Have you been paying attention to the devastating weather events happening more and more often? I found myself worrying, and wondering what this means for our future. So I decided to educate myself and start this blog to share what I learn – in a way that is not alarmist or partisan, but is simple, pragmatic, and solutions-focused. In other words, I want to bring down the temperature of the climate conversation.

My young adult kids roll their eyes over how much I talk about it, but I tell them I’m not doing this for me – it’s for them. They are my why. I don’t want to look back one day and wish I had done more. Solving climate change is about protecting the future for my kids, your kids, and for the generations to come.
